2,190 days / 312 weeks / 72 months / 13 men / 6 years / 5 albums / 4 subgroups / 3 successful concert tours / 1 fandom / 1 group / 1 family

It still feels like yesterday since I became a fan, and it feels like just a few moments earlier since I consider myself as an everlasting friend. But no, everything happened years ago. My life changed since I became their fan, then the story goes on~

Exactly 6 years ago (November 6, 2005), 12 simple boys who once dream of being a star were able to perform on stage for the 1st time. It’s was never just an ordinary day, it was one of the most memorable ones and will always be. A few months after, another boy who has the same dream was added to the group and the group proved that number 13 was not bad at all.

Fans were able to watch you grow - from individuals who have the biggest dreams to the men who shines as the brightest stars on stage. It was never a smooth flowing journey, in fact we’ve been through a lot of obstacles. But it doesn’t stop there, instead of turning back, we held hands and move forward as one.

Life as a Super Junior fan was painful, it was tragic, but being in this fandom is one of the few things I will never regret for the rest of my life. Everything we’ve shared together - tears, time, love, trust and dreams - will forever stay in my heart, treasured as one of the best experience I had during the span of my existence. All the memories we had, all of the ups and downs we’ve been through, all the tears we shed together, these are just proofs that we are indeed one of the best fandoms ever. For the bravest boys we love the most, we are indeed one of the strongest fandoms. I am forever grateful and proud of Super Junior, and to my fandom as well.

So for the boys we value the most, congratulations and happy 6th year anniversary! 6 years was indeed a very long journey, and ELF will surely be with you for another 6 years, and even more than that. No matter what path you guys choose to take years from today - to be an actor, model, DJ, MC, solo artist, etc. - we will support you and love you no matter what. ELF doesn’t just love Super Junior as a group, we love each and everyone of you individually and we will respect your decisions in life.

Good luck for the upcoming years, Super Junior! Never stop inspiring thousands of people around the world. You are not just the brightest stars on stage, you exceptionally change people’s lives who believe in your capabilities. We are very proud of you guys! Continue being one of the best groups out there and ELF will always be behind you, supporting, protecting and loving you.

Thank you for these 6 wonderful years, Super Junior. Park Jungsoo, Kim Heechul, Han Geng, Kim Jongwoon, Kim Youngwoon, Shin Donghee, Lee Sungmin, Lee Hyukjae, Lee Donghae, Choi Siwon, Kim Ryeowook, Kim Kibum, Cho Kyuhyun, with Zhou Mi and Henry Lau, we are forever grateful and thankful for the beautiful days we’ve shared together. Let us share more days together, shall we? We love you so much ~ ♡

Everything in life is temporary, because everything changes. That's why it takes great courage to love, knowing it might end anytime but having the faith it will last forever.

Happy 6th Anniversary Super Junior. ♥
SUPER JUNIOR, THANKYOU AND WE LOVE YOU

We’re unbreakable, unstoppable, unbeatable.

revolvearoundlove:

I remembered this 60 year old grandma that I met during Super Junior’s SS2 Manila stop.

We were waiting for the Super Show 2 to start and the crowd was already loud. I was waving my lightstick like mad and the show hasn’t even started yet. The grandma beside me tapped me on the shoulder and said, “Magkano bili mo diyan?” Then I replied the price. “Bumili ka rin ng CDs nila?” I nodded. “Sino kasama mo dito? Ikaw lang?” I shook my head and pointed to my sister, and she said, “Ah, pareho kayong ELF?” I shook my head again and replied, “Nilibre ko po siya para makapunta ako dito. Kasi po kung wala akong kasama, di ako papayagan.” I smiled and she seemed contented.

”The best ‘tong fandom na ‘to.” She said. And I replied, “Talaga po?”  I smiled. “Bakit niyo po nasabi ‘yan?”

And she borrowed my lightstick for a while. She turned it off and asked me to look at the crowd.

“Itong crowd na ‘to, ito ang pinakamaingay na narinig ko sa buong buhay ko. I’ve been to other concerts, pero ito…di pa man nagsisimula ang mismong concert eh ang ingay-ingay na. At sigurado pa silang hindi sila mauubusan ng energy pagdating ng mismong concert. Tignan mo sarili mo. Bumili ka ng lightstick na 700 Pesos…ni-hindi mo nga magagamit ‘to araw-araw eh! Bumili ka ng album na hindi mo naman kailangan. May Internet na di ba? Bumili ka ng concert ticket, pagkamahal-mahal naman. At alam mong hindi ka kilala ng personal ng mga lalaking ‘yan, and yet you continue on giving time to them. You continue on giving your heart to them. You continue on wasting your money on them. Now if that’s not dedication, what do you call that?!”

I smiled.

Kagalang-galang ‘tong fandom na ‘to.

Wala na akong masasabi pang iba.”

To that grandma, I don’t know where she is anymore, but thank you for opening my heart and mind more to what Super Junior really is. :)

How did we get this far?
I know what you are
I understand what you cannot be
You walked in
When the rest of the world walked out

How did we get this far?

I know what you are

I understand what you cannot be

You walked in

When the rest of the world walked out
